Why it's necessary:

After lotion 1, the hair cuticles are open and the hair is vulnerable, so it requires support. "Between" acts as a reset button.

Usage:

After removing lotion 1, apply "between", leave it on for 30 seconds, remove with a dry or slightly damp cotton swab or cotton pad, and proceed as usual with lotion 2.
